Prefer to have your Thunder solar and battery system professionally installed? Our installation service covers Thunder Bolt Plus and Storm Plus solar kits with battery, as well as Thunder Vault home batteries purchased from us. We arrange the mounting, appropriate electrical connection, commissioning and handover in one coordinated service. Installation enquiries are welcome across England, subject to local availability and a technical site review.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Add installation alongside your Thunder kit or Vault battery. Already own a Thunder system? You can book installation separately.
2. After ordering, we contact you to confirm your postcode, equipment, consumer unit, proposed battery position, cable route and any site requirements.
3. Following approval, our electrician installs, tests and commissions the system, then explains how it works.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
Mounting the solar panels where applicable using the supplied hardware; positioning and securing the battery; suitable electrical connections and tidy cable routing; commissioning and monitoring setup; basic safety checks, handover and relevant certification or DNO notification where required.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The £449.99 price is for a standard, technically suitable installation of an eligible Thunder system. Additional wiring, consumer-unit work, access equipment, unexpected electrical upgrades and other non-standard works are quoted separately before proceeding. Installation depends on site conditions and installer availability. Permissions remain the customer’s responsibility. Solar-only kits require the separate solar-kit installation service.
